Your Role:

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Leading a cross-functional team to deliver impactful data projects.
Writing code to extract, process, and store data across various platforms, including Snowflake, Postgres, DynamoDB, Kafka, and graph databases.
Building and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines using SQL, PySpark, Pandas, and similar frameworks.
Ensuring data quality and implementing monitoring solutions.
Orchestrating complex workflows and data pipelines using tools like Airflow.
Collaborating with stakeholders to design and develop data APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.

What You Bring:

A completed BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong programming background in Python and core computer science principles.
2+ years of experience leading a team to deliver data projects, with at least 1 year in a reporting manager role.
Proficiency in building data products and knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience architecting solutions on AWS or similar public cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience assessing and implementing new data tools to enhance our data engineering stack.
Familiarity with data mesh concepts and knowledge of domains such as recommender systems, fraud detection, personalization, and marketing science.
Understanding of vector databases, knowledge graphs, and other approaches for organizing and storing information.
