SUMMARY Responsible for the showing and leasing of apartments in accordance with regulatory agreements and Volunteers of America policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Process applications by conducting applicant interviews, obtaining 3rd verifications as necessary, calculating income/assets/medical expenses and entering data into the property management software. Confirm that software calculated rent is accurate.
- Execute applicant lease documents in accordance with Volunteers of America policy and procedure.
- Assists in processing recertification's and interim- recertification's.
- Assists in collection and posting of resident rents and utilities. Deliver rent delinquency notices.
- Maintains applicant waitlist and resident files in accordance with program regulations. Conducts semi-annual waitlist updates.
- Assist in compiling program required documents for annual financial audit.
- Monitoring the property and resolve minor issues and escalate more serious issues in the absence of the Community Administrator.
- Collaborates with Service Coordinators to enhance resident quality of life.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - High school diploma or its equivalent and one-year administrative/clerical office experience.
- Knowledge of computer operations to include basic data entry.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with residents and employee
- Basic math aptitude
