Are you a Licensed Customs Broker with a passion for ensuring seamless international logistics? Join a dynamic team in a fully remote role, assisting with U.S. pet imports. We're looking for someone who can guide customers through customs processes with professionalism and care.
What You'll Do
Facilitate Customs Clearance: Help clients navigate customs requirements by preparing and submitting accurate documentation, determining tariff and duty payments, tracking shipments, and using the tariff coding system to classify goods.
Ensure Compliance: Prepare and verify that all required government forms and information meet U.S. and international regulations.
Provide Expert Support: Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
Educate Clients: Advise customers on customs regulations, international tariffs, shipping restrictions, and insurance requirements.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with sales and other departments to pursue new opportunities and support business growth.
Stay Current: Monitor updates to import regulations and work with customs to address any issues that arise.
Additional Duties: Take on other tasks as assigned by management to support operational success.
What We're Looking For
Education & Certification: Must hold an active U.S. Customs Broker License.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new accounting software and tools.
Professional approach to problem-solving and customer service.
