- Maintenance Technician Level 1
- Perform assigned daily inspections, preventive maintenance and safety checks of all machines and equipment defined in the maintenance operational system and listing of Key Equipment.
- Fabrication and welding of items necessary for equipment installation and maintenance.
- Utilize skills and knowledge to evaluate repair issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems of the machines.
- Installation of utilities to machines (electrical, pneumatic and cooling water)
- Document preventive maintenance to CMM software (PMC) and corrective maintenance activities in the maintenance log book.
- Maintenance Technician Level 2
- In addition to the requirements of Level 1 Technician the Level 2 Technician will:
- Perform midlevel programming and adjustment of PLC’s, robots and Vision inspection systems.
- Interpret specifications, read schematics and manuals to determine corrective measures required for proper maintenance and repair.
- Maintenance Technician Level 3
- In addition to the requirements of Level 1 and 2 Technician, the Level 3 Technician will:
- Perform advanced programming and adjustment of PLC’s, robots and Vision inspection systems.
- Assist maintenance supervisor in spare parts inventory control through utilization of the CMM software system (PMC)
- Utilize supervisory skills to manage sub projects in the Maintenance Department
- Provide support and training to Level 1 and Level 2 Maintenance Technicians
- All Maintenance Technicians will
- Assist in activities related to safety and will be an active member of the facilities safety team on their shift.
- Have specific duties assigned to perform in an emergency situation.
- Understand proper usage and disposal of all hazardous substances used in the facility
- Understand the hazards and necessary PPE to utilize in their assigned tasks.
Qualifications arrow_right
- Vocational training in Industrial Maintenance.
- Related experience with mechanical and electrical systems and controls.
- Electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Programming PLC’s, HMI’s and robotic systems.
- Specific training relative to the equipment utilized at this facility.
