experienced Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of meat fabrication, cutting techniques, and food safety standards. You will be responsible for providing our customers with high-quality cuts of meat, ensuring accurate portioning, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

25% of Range | USD $22.68/Hr.
Max | USD $30.24/Hr.
Responsibilities: - Cut and fabricate various meat products (beef, pork, poultry, etc.) to customer specifications and company standards.
- Trim fat and bone from meat cuts, ensuring optimal presentation and yield.
- Grind meats for ground beef, sausage, and other products.
- Slice deli meats and cheeses accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare specialty cuts and custom orders as requested by customers.
- Weigh, wrap, and label meat products for display and sale.
- Portion meat to meet customer and inventory needs.
- Debone various cuts of meat.
- Tie roasts and other specialty cuts.
- Operate meat cutting equipment, including saws, grinders, and slicers, safely and efficiently.
- Sharpen and maintain knives and other cutting tools.
- Stock meat cases and displays, ensuring attractive and organized presentation.
- Rotate meat products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment regularly.
- Assist customers with meat selection and provide cooking advice.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Manage inventory control and order meat products as needed.
- Assess meat quality and freshness.
- Follow standard recipes and cutting specifications.
- Identify different cuts of meat and their characteristics.
- Understand meat grading and quality standards.
- Apply knowledge of meat cutting techniques.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Advise customers on cooking methods.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Meat Cutter.
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and fabrication.
- Ability to operate meat cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
