Job Summary
If you're interested in a Mid-Level Biologist job, then this is the best role for you! We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled biologist with a strong interest in plant physiology, cell culture, in vitro assays, molecular biology, and the management of controlled environments and greenhouses.
Job Description
- Responsible for the routine growth and maintenance of various crops in controlled environments, including growth chambers, greenhouses, and laboratory settings.
- Assist in the execution, monitoring, and documentation of experiments according to established protocols.
Skills Required
- Ability to interpret experimental results is required.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented team player with strong scientific knowledge and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), databases, data analysis software, and basic bioinformatics tools.
- Strong attention to detail, experimental design, data analysis and interpretation skills, along with excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Degree in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in plant care or laboratory work.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
- Shift: 08:00 AM
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $33.00 to $41.00 per hour based on qualifications.
