Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and comprehend detailed blueprints and drawings to guide your work.
- Identify, check, and trace the materials needed for various tasks.
- Show your forklift operating proficiency once certified.
- Master the use of inspection tools to ensure peak performance.
- Follow and uphold our integral Employee Quality Policy & Requirements.
- Implement basic machine maintenance, maintaining orderly records and prioritizing prompt communication with superiors.
- Excel in delivering projects to exact customer specifications promptly.
- Maintain a vigilant eye for potential issues, ready to take proactive steps.
- Barcode, count, and tag components accurately while maintaining thorough documentation.
- Keep your workspace immaculate, contributing to a culture of cleanliness.
Welding Specifics:
- Adhere scrupulously to all department protocols and customer specifications (AWS).
- Exhibit MIG welding prowess with various metal types and thicknesses.
- Decode weld symbols with precision, adhering to stringent welding codes and practices.
- Innovate by refining setups and welding sequences to uplift productivity.
- Handle prototypes and challenging welding tasks with expertise.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams, evaluating job capabilities and detailing project specifications.
- Craft and manage welding fixtures and templates.
- Select and set up proper wire rods and machines, matching client specifications.
- Contribute to our training initiatives by mentoring peers.
- Shoulder additional duties, ensuring smooth operations.
Preferable Skills:
- Hold certifications like AWS, CWI, and robotic programming experience.
Qualifications:
- A can-do attitude, integrity, and eagerness to surpass customer expectations.
- Detail-oriented with impeccable organizational skills.
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory.
- Significant welding practice and blueprints reading are essential.
- Possessing personal tools for the trade is a must.
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
- Completion of a 90-day probationary term is required.
