All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Fulltime **Shift** : Days **Location:** 701 West Plymouth Avenue DeLand, FL 32720 **The role you'll contribute:** Responsible for providing close surveillance of EKG monitors and communicating rhythm status to nurses. This position ensures accurate monitoring and timely reporting of any changes in patient rhythms. This role adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting body standards. In addition, this position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service. Additionally, this role maintains respectful relationships with all individuals. Responsibilities for this role include monitoring EKGs, reporting rhythm changes, adhering to regulations, providing customer service, and maintaining respectful relationships. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Demonstrates behavior that aligns with the company's core values. + Documents in accordance with department policy and maintain telemetry logbook. + Observes monitors, recognizing and documenting normal and abnormal EKG patterns, and promptly notify nursing staff of any abnormalities. + Maintains monitor alarms per policy, verifies that alarms are set and audible every shift, and troubleshoots monitors as needed. + Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities, demonstrating accurate documentation and monitoring of activities, and supporting departmental quality standards and initiatives. **Qualifications** **The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed** **:** + **Minimum qualifications** : High School Grad or Equiv1 years of monitor tech experience (Preferred) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
