Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, impactful way to support students? As an independent contractor, you'll have the freedom to manage your own schedule while delivering tailored support to your students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Deliver Virtual Lessons: Create engaging, individualized lessons aligned with each student's IEP (Individualized Education Plan) to support their academic success.
Collaborate with Support Networks: Work closely with school staff, families, and other professionals to monitor student progress, adjust teaching methods, and ensure students receive the best possible support.
Maintain Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date service logs, progress reports, and any other necessary documentation as required by school guidelines.
Position Details:
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Start Date: Immediate (through May 2024)
Caseload: K-12 students across various grade levels
Schedule: Flexible hours with the ability to manage your own time
Qualifications:
Licensing: Valid Special Education Teaching license in Tennessee
Experience: At least two years of experience in a school setting, working with diverse student populations
Tech Savvy: Comfort and competence with online teaching platforms, virtual classroom tools, and digital documentation systems
