Russ & Daughters is hiring an experienced baker for overnight shifts at our Navy Yard, Brooklyn facility. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our team!
Overnight Bakers should be:
• Available for a full time position: 5 days a week, shifts from (approx.) 10pm to 6am
• Able to work both Saturday and Sunday, this position requires full weekend and holiday availability. We are open 7 days a week; generally open for all holidays
• Responsible and self-motivated
• Positive and a team player
• Able to lift over 50lbs
• Experienced working as a baker; bagel baking experience a plus
• Skillful in high volume baking production and recipe scaling
• Able to prepare different doughs and mixtures according to production recipes
• Must be able to communicate with coworkers and kitchen leadership
