Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Triage Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our clinic, assisting in the efficient and effective operation of our triage services. You’ll work closely with our healthcare team to ensure patients receive the care they need in a timely manner. This part-time position is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in the medical field while balancing other commitments.
Responsibilities:
Patient Triage: Assist in evaluating and prioritizing patient needs, ensuring those with urgent conditions receive prompt attention.
Initial Assessments: Conduct basic assessments, such as taking vital signs, gathering medical history, and documenting symptoms.
Communication: Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
Documentation: Accurately record patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Support Tasks: Assist with administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of a Medical Assistant training program is Required that certifies or registers you.
Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required. We provide on-the-job training!
Skills : Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
