As a full time PCA/Special Education Aide, you will work under the direction of the classroom teacher to provide extra support to students with special needs. This is a full time, long term position. Openings are in Jefferson Hills, PA and Bethel Park, PA

School Year Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: $17/hr, paid every week

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directly supports the students at the direction of the teacher and the special education supervisor supporting with ADLs
• Support of students requiring intensive behavior supports (i.e. self-injurious behaviors, verbal and physical aggression)
• Provide instructional, behavioral and/or physical assistance to an individual student or a small group of students. Including, but not limited to, the use of assistive technology, on-task prompting, facilitating social skills, toileting and self-care skills
• Assists teachers in the preparation of and during instructional activities, and addresses the tutorial needs of students as identified
