The Pediatric Otolaryngology service at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center for Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences is growing by leaps and bounds.
We are looking for energetic and innovative fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologists with a variety of clinical, academic and research skillsets. While doctors with all interests and skillsets are invited to apply, the following phenotypes are particularly valuable: an interest in chronic ear disease and the science behind it, a desire to innovate complex dysphagia management, a strong capability within data science, and an interest in general community-based pediatric Otolaryngology. Advanced degrees (M.P.H, M.S.C.I., M.B.A., Ph.D.) are viewed favorably, and we have unique resources to facilitate research endeavors that occur alongside an active clinical practice. Multidisciplinary clinics support and foster complex care on the main campus, while off-site clinics and ambulatory surgical facilities allow the flexibility to provide the right pediatric care in the right location. Faculty members spend time both on the main campus and at off-sites. The Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a full-service tertiary healthcare institution with clinic sites distributed across middle Tennessee, and it is the hub of a broad clinical and research network.
