Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking skilled phlebotomists to join our team in a doctor's office setting, where you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients and performing specimen processing. Your role is vital for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, ensuring their accurate entry into the computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing specimens to the appropriate analytical areas. You will also conduct specified analytical testing as assigned, adhering to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
+ Collect and receive biological specimens.
+ Enter specimen data accurately into the computer system.
+ Prepare samples for analytical testing.
+ Distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical areas.
+ Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
+ Adhere to the Code of Conduct guidelines.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in phlebotomy (excluding donor, plasma, and MA phlebotomy).
+ Proficiency in blood draw and specimen processing.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish.
+ Comfortable working independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GED or High School Diploma required.
+ Opportunity for career advancement after 6 months, with potential for a 4% pay increase.
+ Preference for candidates not previously employed, but rehires considered if they left over 6 months ago on good terms.
Work Environment
This position is located in Goodyear, AZ, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work as a phlebotomist within a doctor's office, drawing blood from patients and collaborating closely with medical assistants. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
