Exempt: $60,000 - $72,000

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer to join our team and help bring our products to life through visually engaging photoshoots and content creation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of product photography and staging, and a passion for the health and wellness industry. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality images highlighting our products in their best light and resonating with our target audience. You will work closely with the creative design and marketing teams to ensure that visual content aligns with our brand and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan, style, stage, and photograph health and wellness products to enhance brand materials for e-commerce listings, social media, marketing campaigns, emails, and print.
- Set up and style product shots for various platforms to ensure high-quality, appealing images that align with brand guidelines and target audience preferences.
- Capture concepts and themed launches with evergreen content that reflect how products can be integrated into everyday wellness routines.
- Collaborate with videography, design, and creative marketing teams to develop and execute visual content strategies for various platforms (website, social media, email campaigns, etc.).
- Edit and retouch images to enhance quality and ensure consistency across all content.
- Manage and organize photo assets into a library, ensuring all images are properly archived and easily accessible to the creative team.
- Maintain an efficient workflow for tight deadlines while ensuring a high standard of quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest photography trends, techniques, and equipment to continually improve the quality of visual content.
- Ensure consistency in lighting, color, and composition to align with Just Ingredients’ visual standards and project expectations.
- Work with models and scouts off-site as needed to capture authentic, engaging product imagery.
- Occasionally assist in the creation of video content for product demonstrations or promotional materials.
Qualifications: - 3-5 years of proven experience in professional product photography, ideally in the e-commerce, health, or wellness industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product and lifestyle photography. (this is required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) or similar photo editing software.
- Experience with studio lighting, staging, and props to create compelling product visuals.
- Strong eye for detail, composition, and color grading.
- Ability to style and stage products creatively for storytelling through imagery.
- Capable of working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and agility to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and how to translate it into visual content.
- Knowledge of current photography trends and best practices for e-commerce and social media.
- Familiarity with basic videography is a plus.
- Passion for health, wellness, and fitness is highly desirable.
