Position: Physical Security Assistant Project Manager
Location: Remote-Travel to sites within USA required
Starting Compensation: $40/hr-$45/hr
Overview:
Avenica is currently evaluating talent for an Assistant Project Manager in the insurance industry for physical security operations. G reat opportunities for long-term growth! This person will act as the liaison to align requirements from the company's different divisions and vendors for security projects. Travel to on-site locations will be required throughout the projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the initial walkthrough of all physical security projects and coordinate with other teams as needed to ensure the designed systems support the needs of the office.
- Participate in division meetings to ensure support of all phases during planning, construction, and delivery of security support for each project.
- Assist with the final walkthrough of all physical security projects to identify any failures of the security system and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Learn the appropriate tools and database to be able to manage the risk assessment program, undertaking site assessments and recommending mitigations in compliance with policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of physical security experience required with related project management skills.
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of security systems for large organizations
- Must be comfortable learning new systems quickly to work cross-functionally with teams and vendors
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel to on-site locations as needed throughout projects
