Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a team to meet daily and weekly schedule deadlines.
- Work hands-on with the crew, including setting fixtures, laying pipes, and site layout.
- Ensure work quality and accuracy according to plans and codes.
- Report job progress to management and attend customer meetings.
- Prepare detailed material lists 2-3 days in advance for each job phase.
- Oversee job site cleanliness and secure tools/equipment at the end of each day.
- Coordinate with management to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years as a journeyman plumber with a valid Allegheny County Journeyman License.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in reading blueprints, including kitchen and equipment drawings.
- Solid knowledge of plumbing materials (PVC, CPVC, Copper, PEX, Black Steel, Cast Iron).
- Experienced with installing commercial kitchen fixtures (sinks, grease traps, floor drains, etc.).
- Ability to calculate proper slopes for piping and handle complex piping systems.
- Proficient in managing multiple restroom layouts and fixture carriers.
- Knowledge of local codes and ability to perform plumbing installations to Allegheny County standards.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites within a 50-mile radius of Pittsburgh.
