Job Description
The Porter helps maintain cleanliness throughout assigned areas, including the casino floor, bathrooms, and restaurants.
Duties:
- Vacuuming floors
- Cleaning Tivoli lights, railings, and brass
- Emptying refuse containers
- Wiping down counters, machines, and tables
- Cleaning up spills, including drinks, ashtrays, broken glass, and bio-hazardous waste, if trained to do so.
- Providing courteous customer service
- Maintaining bathrooms
- Use of all cleaning agents (chemicals) used within the department.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to accurately read and write the correct time of day.
- Must be knowledgeable of all public areas’ locations (guest services).
- Must be able to communicate and read and write in English.
- Prior experience is preferred, although the Western Village will train.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
