Job Description

Mina Homecare Companion Services, LLC seeks compassionate, bright-eyed and reliable independent contractors to provide companion homemaker services in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

Primary Responsibilities

Companionship & Personal Support

Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.

Assist clients with mobility and ensure a safe environment

Daily Living Assistance

Support clients with non-medical personal care activities such as grooming, dressing, and hygiene with stand by assistance

Provide reminders for self-administered medications as needed.

Housekeeping & Meal Preparation

Perform light housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.

Prepare and serve simple meals,

Errands & Client Transportation  (if applicable and approved by Mina Homecare)

Assist with grocery shopping and running errands as requested by the client.

Transport clients to appointments, social events, and other outings, ensuring compliance home, community and clients assessments

Compliance & Professional Conduct

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and AHCA requirements, including background checks and training.

Availability & Communication

• All Shifts are available, looking for experience, knowledgable, customer service with excellence

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must complete and pass a Level 2 AHCA background check
• Must comply with all AHCA training and ongoing education requirements.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• If providing transportation for clients, must hold a valid driver’s license and carry adequate auto insurance.

Compensation & Work Conditions

• Compensation is provided at an agreed-upon rate, processed through Homebase, the company's payroll system.
• This position does  not provide employee benefits such as health insurance or workers' compensation.

This position is welcoming FT, PT, PRN applicants. Base pay starting at $16 and higher
