A rapidly growing MM Private Equity firm in the Bay area is looking to grow their team at the Associate/Senior Assoicate level. The firm focuses on investing across the Consumer sector as a whole and uses both a growth and buyout strategy. They've invested in a handful of household names and are now looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their team with a summer 2025 start. Responsibilities:
- Conducting market research and leading business and industry diligence for prospective investments
- Developing investment memorandum and materials to presenting directly to investment committee
- Complex financial modeling
- Working directly with management teams of portfolio companies post transaction close
- Directly supporting senior members of the team in addition to ad hoc projects
Associate Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Investment Banking experience (ideally with-in M&A or Lev-Fin) (ideally with a Consumer or Generalist focus) for the Assoicate Position
- The above plus 2 years of PE experience for the Senior Assoicate position
- Bachelor's degree with strong GPA
- Solid modelling and analytical skills
- Proven ability to handle simultaneous tasks with deadlines
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
