General Description
This manufacturing support position at the IAC Service Center of Excellence plays a vital role in maintaining the day to day production of service parts to the OEM's. A focus on maintaining equipment functionality is critical while planning for current production products to end mass production and become low volume is required.
Position Specific Requirements (PSR)
- Review Assembly Prints and parts to create Work Instructions and Packaging Instructions
- Troubleshoot Run at Rate issues with the manufacturing team
- Review customer requirements to create testing plans for parts that need PPAP submission
- Determine Run Rates on lines
- Work with multi plants to maximize usages for packaging and maintain returnable packaging catalog.
- Manage Build outs in regard to tooling and equipment
- Monitor bank builds
- Create and Review Cost cards for the finished goods
Experience, Education, Qualifications
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues that arise during service production and work with engineering and production teams to implement solutions.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, identify areas for process improvement, and potential cost savings.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and ensuring adherence to manufacturer's procedures for safety.
- Process Optimization: Utilize techniques like Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve process efficiency and reduce waste.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of manufacturing processes, production data, and maintenance activities.
- Degree: BA preferred or equivalent experience
