As the Product Owner – User Management, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of Angkas’ user management systems. You will be responsible for building and optimizing features that improve user onboarding, authentication, profile management, and overall user lifecycle experience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure a seamless and secure user experience that supports millions of users across our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Define Vision & Strategy

• Develop and own the roadmap for user management features, including registration, authentication, account security, and user profiles.
• Ensure alignment with Angkas’ business objectives, focusing on scalability, usability, and security.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance the user experience across the entire lifecycle.

User Management Product Development

• Oversee the development of user-related features such as single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and account recovery processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design systems that handle millions of users while ensuring data privacy and security compliance.
• Ensure seamless integrations with third-party systems and APIs to enhance user management capabilities.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with engineering, design, operations, and leadership teams to define priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
• Balance technical feasibility, business goals, and user needs to create optimized solutions.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders, addressing their needs and ensuring transparency throughout the product development process.

Performance Monitoring & Iteration

• Define and track KPIs to measure the success and performance of user management systems (e.g., user retention, authentication success rates, and security metrics).

• Conduct A/B testing and user feedback sessions to iterate on and optimize user-facing features.

• Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and security through data-driven insights.

Requirements

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).

Professional Experience

• 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in user management, authentication, or related domains.
• Proven track record of delivering features that enhance user experiences, security, and support large-scale user bases.

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, OpenID, SAML) and security best practices.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and scalable system architectures.
• Experience with user lifecycle management, including onboarding, permissions, and account recovery.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and best practices for secure user data handling.
