Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead our Integrations and Data Engineering (DE) teams. This role will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth delivery of integration projects, and driving Agile practices within the teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing complex integration projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and using Visual Task Boards in ServiceNow to track and manage project progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead multiple integration and data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones, deliverables, and objectives.
- Scrum Master Duties: Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Ensure the teams adhere to Agile principles and Scrum practices.
- ServiceNow Visual Task Boards: Utilize ServiceNow Visual Task Boards for tracking and managing tasks, project progress, and team workloads. Ensure efficient use of task boards for prioritization and visibility across teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, product owners, and external partners. Communicate project updates, risks, and status to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Integration Oversight: Ensure that all integration solutions are robust, scalable, and meet business requirements. Manage dependencies between integration projects and data engineering efforts.
- Team Coordination: Align development efforts between the Integrations and DE teams, promoting collaboration and removing impediments to ensure continuous progress.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, document, and proactively mitigate risks. Escalate issues where necessary and implement solutions to avoid disruptions to project delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement in project delivery, team collaboration, and Agile practices.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze project reports, sprint metrics, and burn-down charts to provide visibility on progress, blockers, and performance..
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in an Agile environment, specifically with integrations and data engineering teams.
- Strong familiarity with ServiceNow Visual Task Boards and their application in managing Agile projects.
- Hands-on experience managing integration projects, including API integrations, middleware, and data pipelines.
- In-depth understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and demonstrated success in leading Scrum teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a technical environment.
- Familiarity with data engineering tools and processes, cloud platforms, and modern integration frameworks.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent experience is a plus.
