Phone and Video Long Term Job Description This senior project manager position reports to the Enterprise Project Management Office of Strategic Operations (or Designee). The purpose of the role is to ensure projects are delivered in such a way that cost, quality, schedule, & benefits realization are controlled and achieved. This will be done by ensuring that projects adhere to the best project management practices & standards. The senior project manager needs to ensure the business stakeholders satisfaction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensures projects are delivered within budget and schedule commitments Ensure project dependencies are managed, prioritized, and effectively communicated Working with application and database developers Coordinate best practice and ensure lessons learned are logged Ensure proper project planning, milestone management, scope management, resource forecasting, financial management, change management. Prepare regular status reporting to all levels of the business Prioritizes project planning work for effective risk and change management Interface with multiple systems to manage daily deliverables and task execution Acts as SME for any questions or issues in the project process Acts as a project leader, driving project progress, leading teamwork, and supporting the project team members to succeed in their roles and responsibilities Required Education, Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred with a concentration in Finance, Management or Business preferred Experience and knowledge of database management Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, financial industry is preferred. Good relationship management skills Exemplary communication skills Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations Strong skills in creating and maintaining project plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies Proven and successful experience of project delivery Be able to track the deliverables and milestones closely, bring to the attention of the client and all stakeholders of the priorities.
