RADIO PRODUCER
Full-time, Onsite, Irondale (Birmingham), AL. Not remote-eligible.
YOUR IMPACT:
As a Radio Producer, you'll oversee live and recorded programs, ensuring they align with EWTN's broadcast standards. You'll generate program ideas that reflect our mission and collaborate with hosts and contributors while also performing voice work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce radio programs that meet EWTN standards.
- Develop mission-aligned program ideas.
- Collaborate with hosts and contributors to create engaging Catholic radio.
- Manage production, ensuring fresh messaging and promotions.
- Plan future shows and prepare materials as needed.
- Oversee social media and show promotions.
- Stay updated on current affairs and culture.
- Facilitate shows and perform voice work.
- Maintain a list of vetted fill-in hosts and guests.
ABOUT YOU:
- 1-3 years of experience in radio production.
- Understanding of the Catholic Faith and its programming goals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent writing and creative communication skills.
- Technical troubleshooting abilities.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
