Shift Type: AM (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 Guaranteed

This 129-day temporary contract offers a rewarding opportunity to work in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting full-scope dental procedures and radiographic services. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant, you’ll be the heartbeat of the dental team—supporting dentists and young patients through every step of their visit. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with pediatric dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Preparing patients and treatment areas
• Taking and processing oral radiographs
• Performing coronal polishing and applying fluoride treatments
• Managing patient records using Dentrix and EPIC systems
• Educating families on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Communicating clearly in both English and Spanish
• Ensuring infection control and sterilization protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
• Radiation Safety Certificate
• Coronal Polish Certificate
• CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
• Pediatric experience required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

Education

• Post-high school vocational or specialized training in dental assisting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Dentrix workflow and EPIC dental management systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in four-handed dentistry and pediatric patient care
• Ability to multitask and maintain a calm demeanor with children
