We are hiring for two full-time RDA/OA positions across our locations in San Francisco: Pacific Heights and Mission. As RDA/OA, you will have the unique opportunity to work across diverse specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. We are looking for team players who are passionate about providing top-notch patient care, possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a collaborative setting. 

Schedule and Locations

• Full-Time Position
• Our two locations: Pacific Heights and Mission
• Alternative Work Schedule (4/10 Schedule)
• Office is open Monday-Friday and 2 Saturdays per month

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Current CA RDA licensure
• X-Ray License
• BLS/CPR Certified
• Experience in Pedo and Ortho required
• An outgoing and friendly personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proven record of excellent attendance and punctuality, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.
• Take dental x-rays according to dentist's orders.
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (tooth brushing, flossing, etc.)
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide administrative support when necessary.
