Job Title: RN Medsurg
Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay rate:
Locals: $51/hr or $2,024/ week
Travelers: $57 hr or $2280 weekly
Schedule: Straight Nights 7p-7:30a EOW and Holiday
Required:
Patient Care & Assessment
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and collaborate with the care team.
Medication & Treatment Administration
Administer oral, IV, and injectable medications.
Provide wound care, dressing changes, and manage tubes/drains.
Monitoring & Documentation
Track vitals and patient responses.
Document care accurately per hospital policy.
Team Collaboration & Communication
Participate in rounds and communicate with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Educate patients on discharge care, medications, and follow-up.
Post-Op Care & Safety
Manage post-surgical patients, monitor for complications.
Follow infection control, safety, and PPE protocols.
Emergency Response
Respond to crises (e.g., cardiac or respiratory distress).
Perform CPR and coordinate with emergency teams as needed.
Active RN license
1+ year Med-Surg experience required
Strong assessment, clinical, and critical-thinking skills
Compassionate, team-oriented, and able to multitask in fast-paced settings
Hospital setting; includes weekends/holidays
Physically active role with potential exposure to infection (PPE required)
