JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-


Registered Nurse Manager - Trauma Intensive Care Unit

RN MGR - TRAUMA ICU

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Trauma Intensive Care Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

  1. The Nursing Manager provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided for patients in individual units.
  2. Responsibilities include fiscal, human resource, risk management and operational functions.
  3. The Manager contributes to strategic planning and program development and maintains 24 hour accountability.
  4. The Manager performs delegated duties and functions within the philosophy and overall scope of responsibility.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS-


Registered Nurse Manager - Trauma Intensive Care Unit

RN MGR - TRAUMA ICU

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Trauma Intensive Care Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
  • BLS/ACLS verification course through the American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Three years' experience in critical care nursing experience (ICU, PACU, OR, ED) Some leadership experience required (would consider CNC experience)
  • Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including, but not limited to, administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others
  • Types of Services: Level I - Trauma, Open Hearts, Comprehensive Stroke Program, will be adding ECMO - this candidate will have the opportunity to help build the program. They are not expected to run the trauma program, there is another leader for that.
  • Candidate must have strong critical care experience, leadership abilities, and rounding/teaching.


Salary Range: $77,000 - $115,000

Sign-On Bonus: $7500

Relocation: Case By Case Basis
