Job Description



Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning as a whole. This position is responsible for supporting global compliance efforts for our nutritional supplements, foods, and related products. This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory alignment across international markets while providing guidance and support to internal teams. Reporting into the Legal Department, your specific responsibilities as a part of Team Trove will include:

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies for product registration and compliance in international markets.
  • Partner with internal teams and external consultants to gather, prepare, and submit regulatory documentation (e.g., product specifications, safety data, labeling, and claims substantiation).
  • Ensure ingredient, allergen, and product specifications comply with regulations in the U.S., Canada, and other global regions.
  • Monitor and interpret international regulatory requirements, keeping teams informed of relevant changes.
  • Review marketing and promotional materials to ensure they meet regulatory guidelines for each target region.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Purchasing, with regulatory expertise and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate, organized documentation to support audits and internal reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of regulatory processes and documentation workflows.
  • Review and validate product claims (e.g., non-GMO, kosher, gluten free) and assess the compliance impact of product changes.
  • Act as the regulatory representative in interdepartmental meetings.
  • Help manage specification reviews and maintain accurate label templates.
  • Complete other tasks and assignments as part of the legal team when time permits

Qualifications



We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5–7 years of regulatory affairs or compliance experience, ideally in the dietary supplement, food, or cosmetic sectors.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of CFIA, FDA, USDA, and other international regulatory frameworks (e.g., EU, CA, AU/NZ) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working across teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical and scientific information to regulatory strategies.
