JOB INFORMATION
The Program Coordinator position will report to the Deputy Director of Technology & Innovation. They will be responsible for managing, developing, and administering parts of the City’s Salesforce platform related to “Get It Done” and specific use-cases for our Environmental Services and Public Utilities Departments. Our goal is to provide outstanding people-focused customer experiences and high-quality services to residents. This is a hybrid position, with a requirement of a minimum of two days a week in-office and on an as-needed basis. (Initially, employees will be in-office 4 days a week to enable a successful onboarding.)

Key Areas of Responsibility:
This is a great opportunity to join an amazing team and allows for professional growth within the department and City organization. Responsibilities for the Program Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide functional support for users of the Salesforce platform, including:
- Interacting with and supporting customer departments; documenting and analyzing requested system changes (requirements) and proposed projects.
- Developing end-user training materials.
- Creating and delivering presentations.
- Provide administration and development support for the Salesforce platform, including:
- Configuring the Salesforce instance to meet business needs and requirements.
- Creating and customizing Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide insights.
- Building and customizing applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.
- Oversee components of the Salesforce platform related to quality assurance and service delivery, including report generation, trend analysis, business intelligence insights, customer support and survey management.
- Provide ownership over assigned system enhancements; manage and directly participate in the development lifecycle with activities such as:
- Capturing user stories
- Distilling complex business processes into achievable technical requirements
- Generating acceptance criteria
- Managing and participating in user acceptance testing
- Leading and developing training
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, public administration, or a related field; and a minimum of two years of experience in a professional environment.
Highly Desirable Qualifications: - Experience with the Salesforce platform;
- Salesforce Certifications;
- Applied Lean Six Sigma experience;
- Customer journey/process mapping experience;
- Project Management certification;
- Ability to analyze data using multiple applications, and;
- Comfortable with public speaking.
Desirable Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Analytical and Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in Salesforce administration and development.
- Proficiency in Salesforce setup, configuration, data management, and security.
- Knowledge of Salesforce objects, flows, validation rules, OmniScript, and process automation.
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, REST/SOAP).
Organizational Proficiency:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, politically-sensitive environment.
- Extremely organized, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities effectively.
- Project management experience; familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Excellence in Written and Verbal Communication:
- Ability to translate complex technical and business processes into language anyone can understand.
- Ability to communicate effectively to different audiences, including elected officials, various levels of City management, and members of the public.
