Salary: 44,850 - 81,075 USD per year Requirements:

• I must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) by my start date.
• I need to be able to work in a 24/7 operations environment.
• I should have moderate experience with one or more of the following: utilization of SAA/GAAs as source documentation for network configuration.
• I should have a moderate understanding and experience with the operation and configuration of MILSATCOM encryption devices.
• I need to have a moderate understanding and experience with Satellite Communications (SATCOM) architecture and signal flow.
• I must currently possess an active Secret security clearance.
• I should have the ability to manage IP over SATCOM networks using iDirect/Linkway/EBEM or equivalent FM-TDMA hubs.
• My educational background should include a high school diploma and 2-4 years of experience.

• In this role, I will be responsible for assisting with the following duties:
• I will create and update tickets utilizing DISA ticketing applications to aid in customer problem tracking and resolution in all aspects of the network integral to our clients' Baseband, IF, and RF communications.
• I will monitor network events and element management failures in real-time on a 24x7x365 basis.
• I will perform IP network support, including configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and voice equipment.
• I will perform IP satellite modem support, including configuration and issue of option/boot/RSP files.
• I will remotely access and de-access customers into the IP/SATCOM networks.
• I will work with DoD SATCOM Gateway facilities and deployed operators to troubleshoot and resolve SATCOM and IP network issues.
• I will verify equipment is operating in the baseline configuration.
• I will remotely provide global equipment configurations at DoD SATCOM Gateways utilizing the Satellite Access Authorization (SAA) and Gateway Access Authorization (GAA).

Our customer is the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which provides GIG/Defense Information System Network (DISN) services to customers including the Department of Defense (DoD) and national security organizations. This position directly supports the DISA-provided GIG capabilities and services in the 24x7 DISA Global Operations Center (DGOC). We are looking to fill the position of Network Technician at Hill AFB, UT, within the Leidos Digital Modernization Sector and Global Solutions Management-Operations II (GSMO-II) in our Enterprise SATCOM Gateway Services (ESGS) Operations Support Cell. The anticipated pay range for this position is $44,850.00 - $81,075.00. This job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days following the original posting date of September 16, 2024.
