Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging virtual instruction and support to students with visual impairments, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Create and implement personalized educational plans and accommodations that cater to individual student needs.
Adapt curriculum materials and teaching techniques to ensure all students can achieve their learning objectives.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to promote student success and well-being.
Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed.
Provide training and resources to students, teachers, and caregivers on effective strategies for supporting students with visual impairments.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or Special Education, with a focus on visual impairments.
Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
Experience working with students with visual impairments in an educational setting.
Knowledge of assistive technology and resources that benefit students with visual impairments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
