Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Adobe AEM Developer to join a dynamic, collaborative team. This role involves managing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) cloud infrastructure, developing and maintaining custom AEM components, templates, and workflows, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience with large-scale CMS projects, and a passion for building resilient, high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and optimization of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) systems by implementing best practices for AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows, ensuring they adhere to industry standards.
Play a key role in designing, developing, and documenting AEM system components to facilitate the migration from OpenText TeamSite to Adobe AEM.
Ensure compliance with security policies and technical standards by utilizing static and dynamic code analysis tools throughout the development lifecycle.
Lead technical reviews, including code reviews and infrastructure configuration, to maintain high-quality standards and ensure the success of all projects.
Proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities, applying necessary enhancements to improve application security.
Oversee automated deployments and releases from Azure GIT repositories to Cloud Manager's production and non-production pipelines using CI/CD integration.
Use triaging and observability tools provided by Adobe and cloud providers to monitor and manage system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, resolve defects, and implement improvements to ensure the smooth progression of projects.
Create and maintain detailed documentation to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
At least 8 years of experience in web application development, with a strong foundation in Java-based technologies.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including the design and development of components, templates, dialogs, and workflows.
Experience in managing and administering AEM infrastructure, with a deep understanding of security practices, user management, and permissions.
Proficiency with HTL, Sling, JCR, and OSGi frameworks, along with experience in front-end technologies such as React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proven experience in designing and implementing content migration strategies from CMS solutions like OpenText TeamSite to AEM.
Expertise in Azure DevOps, with experience in automated source code releases and deployments using CI/CD integration from Azure GIT repositories to AEM production and non-production pipelines.
Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory, and software quality assurance tools like Veracode and SonarQube.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, including SAML, OpenID, OAuth, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
Proficiency in build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and ANT, and solid experience with relational databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and document processes clearly.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with OpenText's multi-tiered Content Management Infrastructure (TeamSite/LiveSite/OpenDeploy).
Experience with Linux (RHEL) system administration and Shell Scripting.
Knowledge of AI/ML services and their integration into web development processes.
Experience with monitoring tools like Elastic and Dynatrace.
