The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mold design, particularly in the medical device sector, and have a passion for delivering innovative and efficient design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complete injection mold design projects from conception through to production.
- Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed mold designs, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing staff, and quality assurance teams to optimize mold functionality and manufacturability.
- Conduct mold flow analyses to identify potential design challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mold design technology.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster skill development and team cohesion.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mold design, specifically with injection molds for medical devices.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of Class 101 tooling standards and requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
