Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced SharePoint Developer to design and implement secure, scalable, and user-friendly document collaboration solutions using SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform. The developer will work closely with government stakeholders to enable real-time collaboration between DLA Energy and external federal agencies, ensuring compliance with procurement-sensitive and CUI requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop customized SharePoint Online solutions to support structured document management, version control, and user access workflows.

  • Build PowerAutomate flows for collaboration events (e.g., comment routing, notification triggers, workflow approvals).

  • Integrate Microsoft Teams functionality (e.g., embedded chats, file sharing, co-authoring) to support secure interagency communication.

  • Design and implement secure, role-based access to documents and virtual meeting spaces in compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS 252.204 clauses.

  • Create templates, dashboards, and forms that facilitate standardized evaluation processes for DLA Energy's source selection teams.

  • Provide technical documentation and support hand-off to administrators and users.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Certifications (Required):

    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or

    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate (MS-600)

  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer (retired but still relevant experience)

    • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (to meet DoD 8570 baseline if needed)

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development, including SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365 environment).

    • Demonstrated experience building collaborative solutions for external stakeholder access and interaction.

    • Proficiency with PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Power BI, and Teams integration.

    • Experience working on federal contracts with CUI, NIST, or DFARS compliance requirements preferred.

    • Strong understanding of metadata architecture, site collections, content types, and permissions management.
