Position Overview
As a Shift Manager , you’ll be responsible for managing daily operations during your shift, ensuring that team members deliver outstanding service, maintain high food quality, and follow all company standards. You’ll lead by example, fostering a positive team environment and helping crew members grow in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards are consistently met.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues in a friendly, professional manner.
- Manage cash handling, deposits, and shift paperwork accurately.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and assist with ordering and deliveries.
- Support the General Manager and Assistant Managers with day-to-day operations.
- Uphold all company policies, food safety regulations, and labor laws.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience required; management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Flexible availability (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
