Job Description

SSHO - Construction Safety (Dayton, OH)
Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is looking for an EHS professional for a construction project in Dayton, OH. ESS is looking for construction safety professionals with at least 5 years of continuous construction safety experience who are passionate about the safety and health of employees, must be excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, have good computer skills, and is self-directed.
In addition, we are looking for someone who can fulfill the following criteria:
Provide EHS support to the management team.
Coordinate with the facility management team on any needed training, daily inspections, reporting, and other EHS activities as directed.
Complete regular, standardized reports detailing project safety status and report to management.
Maintain safety logs – file and track all site safety reports, injuries, and illnesses.
Assist in external agency interactions (OSHA Inspectors, OSHA Log Management) as appropriate.
Qualifications
Five years of continuous safety management experience.
EM 385.1.1 REQUIRED.
30-hr OSHA.
Current First Aid/CPR certificate.
