Job Description
Young's Cedar Log Homes in Union City, PA is looking for one skilled carpenter to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player, punctual, and engaged. Pay will be based on experience and tools that you can provide. Must be willing to travel distance depending on current build location (within reason).
Responsibilities
- 9 Hour Shift - Mon-Friday (5hrs of Overtime pay weekly)
- Perform various carpentry tasks including but not limited to:
- Log Stacking
- Fixture installation
- Masonry
- Roof/Shingle installation
- Door hanging
- Reading and interpreting schematics
- Frame carpentry
- Electrical work (basic wiring)
- Plumbing (basic pipe fitting)
- Trim carpentry

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in various carpentry techniques and tools
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
