Overview
Lawn Doctor is looking for an individual who oversees and maintains the equipment fleet. He/she oversees a comprehensive preventative maintenance program which includes the repair of failing equipment, keeping records of parts and labor, placing orders for parts/supplies.
Job Functions
- Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical defects/failure in all equipment
- Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment
- Must keep a detailed set of records for equipment and parts inventory, equipment conditions and cost of repairs * Provide training on all Lawn Doctor equipment to employees
- Spot checks equipment in the field for proper performance and makes necessary adjustments as needed
- Acts as the shop manager and keeps a clean and organized shop
Employment Standards
- Hydraulic troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, Sprayer troubleshooting and repair.
- Skilled in the use of a variety of equipment repair tools
- Knowledge of computers and record keeping
- Strong attention to detail
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
