Qualification :
A Snowflake Developer/Admin is responsible for managing and optimizing Snowflake data warehouses, developing ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity and security. Here are the key requirements and skills for this role
Responsibilities:
Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, features, and capabilities.
Experience in setting up and managing Snowflake environments, including warehouses, databases, schemas, and tables.
Knowledge of Snowflake SQL and the ability to write complex queries for data analysis and manipulation.
Experience with ETL tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica, or cloud-based tools like AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory.
Proficiency in designing, developing, and managing ETL/ELT pipelines to load data into Snowflake.
Understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, normalization, and denormalization.
Ability to design and implement data models to support business requirements.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Experience with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for automation and integration tasks.
Familiarity with cloud platforms where Snowflake is deployed, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Requirements:
Experience with integrating Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools.
Knowledge of data ingestion methods, including batch loading and real-time data streaming.
Ability to monitor and optimize the performance of Snowflake queries and operations.
Experience in managing and tuning Snowflake resources for cost and performance efficiency.
