Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing culinary pop-ups and themed events in residential dining halls.
- Brainstorm content ideas and execute content creation for UK Dining social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
- Collect and analyze consumer data from dining hall patrons and complete market research.
- Execute tabling promotions for new and potential students, meal plan sales, and other dining promotions.
- Assist with necessary marketing office functions (printing, laminating, organization, task fulfillment)
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Kentucky
- Previous marketing experience appreciated
- Outgoing and helpful demeanor
- High level of social intelligence
- Willingness to regularly interact with current and prospective students as well as parents
- Ability to work independently and follow verbal instructions
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Kentucky
- This internship is approved for ISC credit. Can be formatted for class credit with other majors as well.
