Job Description

The Sage School is seeking enthusiastic and creative teachers for our Summer Sage program. In this role, you will lead hands-on, engaging activities for students of various ages, fostering exploration, creativity, and play in a fun and inclusive environment. Teachers are responsible for planning and implementing lessons that align with the program’s theme and support the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of each student. Ideal candidates are flexible, enjoy collaborative work, and have a passion for inspiring young learners through summer enrichment. Each day is structured with two three-hour sessions (am and pm) with lunch and recess in the middle of the day. You can teach all day or choose an am or pm session to lead.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver dynamic lessons and activities
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate with program coordinator to align program goals
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students

Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience, especially in summer or enrichment programs (preferred)• High School diploma
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• College students pursuing a degree in education are encouraged to apply
