Role Overview: We are seeking a System Administrator to provide onsite IT support , oversee server administration , and act as the primary IT point of contact for external service providers. The role involves network troubleshooting, system maintenance, and incident resolution to ensure seamless IT operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Onsite IT Support: Assist users with network connectivity (wired/wireless), password resets, printing, AV issues, and troubleshooting .
- Primary IT Contact: Serve as the main onsite liaison with external service providers.
- Governance & Communication: Attend governance meetings to review IT challenges and communicate concerns.
- Third-Party Coordination: Assist third-party tenants with onboarding, access management, and issue resolution .
- Ticket Management: Submit and track support tickets for network provider-related issues (access requests, network disruptions, port issues, remote access, etc.).
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Assist in resolving security breaches, virus incidents, cabling issues, circuit failures, and port malfunctions by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Server Administration: Maintain and support two print servers and one RedHat Linux server , including:
- Log review & system health monitoring
- Operating system patching & updates
- Incident resolution
- Performance optimization
- Configuration changes & maintenance
Required Skills & Competencies: 8-10 years of experience in System Administration & IT Support .
Strong knowledge of Cognitive Network Operations & RedHat Linux .
Expertise in network troubleshooting, server management, and IT infrastructure support .
Experience working with third-party IT vendors and service providers .
Ability to handle advanced security and performance issues .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
