We are looking for a dedicated Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide specialized instruction and support to a PreK student in Armstrong, MO. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to work in a virtual environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of the student.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized, remote instruction to a visually impaired PreK student, ensuring their educational needs are met.
Collaborate with a team of educational professionals, including other teachers, therapists, and specialists, to create a supportive learning environment.
Adapt lessons and instructional materials to accommodate the student's visual impairment and foster their academic and personal growth.
Regularly assess and monitor the student's progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed.
Maintain open communication with the student's family and school staff to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to learning.
Qualifications:
Valid Missouri Teaching Certification for Visually Impaired Students.
Proven ability to deliver remote instruction and work effectively in a virtual setting.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.
