Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide remote educational services to K-12 students across Montana. This full-time, work-from-home role allows you to make a meaningful impact by ensuring students with visual impairments receive the support and resources they need to thrive academically.
Job Details:
Duration: Full School Year (2024-2025)
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per weekKey Responsibilities:
Deliver virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with visual impairments.
Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and professionals to provide accommodations.
Regularly monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
Teach adaptive skills to foster student independence.
Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert consultation on visual impairment needs.Qualifications:
Active TVI certification in Montana.
Experience working with visually impaired students in a school setting.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable using virtual platforms for remote teaching.
