Virtual Tutor (Group Instruction) - Math & ELA
Are you passionate about helping students succeed and excited about teaching in a flexible, virtual setting? We're looking for dedicated teachers and tutors with experience in virtual tutoring to join an afterschool program, providing group instruction across a wide range of schools!
Job Details:
Position Type: Remote, Contract
Hours: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Subjects: Math & English Language Arts (ELA) for grades K-12
Rate: $30 per hour
Location: Work from home, using your personal computer
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engaging group tutoring sessions in Math & ELA, catering to students from grades K-12.
Focus on making learning fun, interactive, and tailored to the needs of each group, responding to student questions and feedback.
Deliver lessons that are designed to promote understanding and academic success across various grade levels.
Support students in a virtual classroom environment, utilizing digital tools and resources to enhance the learning experience.
What We're Looking For:
Previous Experience: Strong background in tutoring or teaching, especially in virtual settings.
Special Education: Experience working with special education students, including understanding accommodations and supporting students with learning disabilities, is highly preferred.
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
Teaching Style: Ability to make learning engaging and interactive, with a student-centered approach that adapts to the needs of the class.
Background Check: Ability to pass a background check (if required).
