Position Details:
Commitment: Entire School Year
Work Environment: Fully Remote
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per month
Compensation: $48 - $52 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, tailored to their unique learning needs.
Utilize technology effectively to enhance the learning experience and engage students in a virtual setting.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in teaching students with visual impairments.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in the state of Massachusetts.
Strong understanding of visual impairments and their impact on learning.
Experience working with students with visual impairments, in-person or virtually.
Proficient in using technology and navigating online platforms with ease.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Open to a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
Ability to pass a technology screening.
