Position Summary:
This position is responsible for welding all products per MOT and/or B/P.

Position Responsibilities
âââââââThe following are essential position accountabilities:

âââââââVerify raw material.
Visually inspect detail parts for damage prior to welding.
Visually inspect all finished welds for compliance to MOT and/or B/P specifications.
Verify proper weld rods per color code.
Identify and tag rejectable items prior to submission to Inspection.

Qualifications:

âââââââ3-5 year fusion welding
Ability to communicate in the English language.
Technical knowledge of welding skills and measuring equipment as required to complete each operation.
Ability to pass the standard welding qualification test: .030 material thickness
Ability to understand weld symbols.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. minimum.
Vision---near 20/20---far 20/30.
Able to see color (able to pass Pseudochromatic plates, Dvorine, Ishihara, Richmond, Farnsworth lantern, Keystone Orthoscope, Titmus vision tester, Titmus II Vision Tester, Titmus 2 Vision Tester.)
