Job Description
- 3-5 years of experience working with 3D CAD ProE or SolidWorks fluency desirable and AutoCAD.
- Experience in statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerance.
- Strong 3D skill in CAD.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing process such as plastic injection molding, metal stamping, CNC machining, surface finishing, thermal engineering, laser cutting, rapid prototyping
- Demonstrated ability in plastic and mechanical part design.
- Ability to work in team-based and multi-cultural environment.
- Extremely strong analytical/logical problem-solving skills.
- Detailed minded and wiling to learn from new technology.
- Ability to complete tasks under pressure. • As a proactive cross-functional teammate within teams & departments.
- As a leading role of developer starting at the ID concept towards ramp phase.
- Define and establish program engineering documents, including: 2D/3D in product, tooling and fixture.
- CAD developer to establish product and tooling 2D/3D.
- Initiate up-to-date revisions on product and tooling 2D/3D CAD.
- Deliver up-to-date progress of CAD development to PD Manager/Engineer and Tooling PM
- Closely work with tooling and material vendors to ensure on-time deliverables conform to specification and up-to-date revision.
- Tooling DFM.
- Accurate communication with sub-contracted tooling vendors or in-house tool shop to ensure on-time deliverables conform to specification and up-to-date revision.
Support IE team/NPI team/QE team in designing fixtures, tools, jigs, and inspection and test devices.
